Dangerous Goods Accreditation Courses are created in partnership with industry leader,
DG Air
Training Centre.
Developed by experienced dangerous goods trainers, the Academy's IATA-accredited online courses meet ICAO, IATA and IMDG requirements, offering compliance across IATA's Dangerous Goods Regulations and the IMO's IMDG Code.
The WiseTech Academy has been approved as an authorised provider for the IATA Competency Based Training and Assessment Centre (CBTA Centre) for air cargo dangerous goods accreditation.
To support FTA members, WTA offers a 12.5% discount to FTA corporate members on all courses purchased through a corporate account with WiseTech Academy. This includes the Academy's IATA-approved and IMDG-compliant dangerous goods (Hazmat) accreditations.

FTA offers Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) training
online
for the customs broker licencing period 1 April to 31 March each year. The cost of an online training package is $150 (excl. gst) for member organisations with bulk discounts available on a sliding scale. New content is now ready for your completion.
Licensed customs brokers
not
employed by a corporate FTA member, can purchase an Individual Membership which includes online CPD & CBC training for the cost of only $300 (excl. gst) per customs broker licensing period.
Employees of members who
do not require CPD points or a formal a certificate/attainment statement

Port of Newcastle welcomes largest Neptune Pacific Direct Line container shipment,
Port of Newcastle's Multipurpose Terminal recently welcomed its largest
Neptune Pacific Direct Line
container shipment, including the first export of refrigerated cargo from Newcastle.
As a key gateway for regional NSW producers and exporters, growing container trade is one of the Port's key strategic priorities.
The visit by vessel Capitaine Kupe saw the discharge of 70 import containers, and 163 containers loaded for export to the South Pacific.

Air New Zealand the first trans-Tasman carrier to fly to Western Sydney International
The airline's first route will connect Auckland and Western Sydney, opening a new gateway between Aotearoa, New Zealand and one of Australia's fastest-growing regions.
Air New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Greg Foran says the airline is pleased to be leading the way in connecting the two countries via the new airport.
"Western Sydney International represents an exciting step forward for aviation in Australia, and we're delighted to be the first trans-Tasman carrier to commit to operating there as we continue to grow".
