The Victorian Travel Permit System is in place for all people travelling to Victoria.

The permit system is based on a traffic light system which allows for areas across Australia to be designated as green, orange or red according to their risk. Areas currently considered to be higher risk are:

  • Queensland: Greater Brisbane (City of Brisbane, City of Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay Region, Redlands City) will become a designated red zone under Victoria's travel permit system at 6:00pm Victorian time today.
Commercial Freight Workers who are coming from a green zone only need a Green Zone Permit.

Those coming from an orange zone or red zone need to apply for a permit under the category Commercial Freight Worker.

You can find more information and apply for a Permit at Services Victoria's COVID-19 border entry webpage
