FREIGHT & Trade Alliance announced the appointment of Andrew Crawford as its head of border and biosecurity, with the role to commence next week.

Mr Crawford has had a long career in international freight and logistics, completing his customs broker studies in 1981 before eventually taking on the CEO role at BCR Freight.

"I believe industry representation is vital to the success of our Industry as a whole," Mr Crawford said.

"And now I look forward to providing the best possible support to FTA members."
