Message from the Managing Director and CEO

Friday May 27

Current Issues.

Fremantle

The Xin Lian Yun Gang is berthing tonight and is expected to complete in 24hrs. The CC Quartz is omitting Fremantle this week to make up for delays overseas and will arrive Melbourne "on window". The CC Wagner is expected on Monday afternoon, with all imports available from Tuesday morning.

The road was quiet today. The Truck Turnaround Time was 8 mins, while the average Container Turn Time was 7 mins on dayshift today.

Melbourne

Melbourne terminal set a new benchmark after working the Xin Da Lian at an average of 85 moves/hour. Severe bunching on Sunday as a result of high swells in the Tasman will require good shift crane rates to avoid rolling delays.

The average Truck Turnaround Time on dayshift was 28 mins, while the average Container Turn Time was 16 mins.

Sydney

Our Sydney terminal has been instrumental in reducing the coastal window for our customer's vessels, achieving good shift crane rates right through the week. The weekend is looking good, with both the YM Singapore and the Xin Ning Bo expected to sail early on window.

The average Truck Turnaround Time for dayshift was 23 mins, while the average Container Turn Time was 16 mins.

Brisbane

The Northern Precision is about to berth in Brisbane and will be working well. Our vessels are expected to be worked "on window" right though the week.

The average Truck Turnaround Time on dayshift was 22 mins while the average Container Turnaround Time was 11 mins.
