HOW DOES IT WORK?
The system links all players in the landside container logistics industry – transport operators, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, shipping lines, empty container depots and port terminals. Any of these players can become 'LIVE-enabled', and therefore able to access the power of the system, by simply contacting Containerchain. There is no cost.
When using the system, users may find that the counterparty they want to deal with does not appear. This is because the company is not 'LIVE-enabled'. The system allows a user to 'invite' that company to partner with them through the LIVE community, and the company can simply accept that invitation to get started. Once a company is 'LIVE-enabled', any customer can transact with them, no matter where they are located, in one single window.

Customers are the lifeblood of the container logistics industry, but too often are left in the dark when it comes to knowing what's happening with their containers when they are on the landside (outside the port terminal).

LIVE allows customers to book jobs with any 'LIVE-enabled' transport company anywhere in Australia. It allows customers to edit (manage) their jobs online, at any time.
