INDUSTRIAL ACTION FTA / APSA MEDIA RELEASE - Advocacy for Reform

Further to our ongoing advocacy for industrial relations reform, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have commenced engagement with other industry groups and this morning (8 January 2025) disseminated the attached Media Release outlining the impacts of the current Protected Industrial Action (PIA) affecting Qube Ports and the threat of similar impacts at container terminals throughout the course of 2025.

Based on previous experience, we anticipate the media will request further case studies; to support this process we encourage members to share examples with us (either on or off the record) to media@FTAlliance.com.au
