This notice is for all registered Quarantine Approved Premises Class 2.6 Empty Shipping Container Parks.

Information

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is moving to a risk based intervention model. To assist the department in assessing the risk associated with imported empty containers, we will be commencing an analysis of the contamination detected in imported shipping containers over the next few months.

A letter will be sent to all registered Quarantine Approved Premises Class 2.6 Empty Shipping Container Parks requesting copies of Empty Container Inspection Record Sheets for the period of 1 October 2011 to 1 October 2012.
