Given this inefficient experience, FTA is proud to announce we have joined with our insurance adviser, James Cotis of Logical Insurance Brokers, to offer better Travel Insurance arrangements for our valued members and their staff.
We have partnered with TravelCard Travel Insurance who have overhauled these outdated claims processes.
TravelCard are offering a unique set of benefits, setting their Travel Insurance products apart from many others available in the market. Most notable is TravelCard's ability to settle and pay claims in "Real-Time", usually within minutes. The "Real-Time" payment solution can help travellers avoid situations where they would otherwise find themselves significantly out-of- pocket for up front expenses such as purchasing clothing and personal items when luggage goes missing, or hospital bills in an emergency, or flight cancellations to name just a few. This service also cuts out the need for completing time consuming claims paperwork and waiting around for claims payments. When a TravelCard policy is purchased, clients are provided with individual debit MasterCards. Should an event arise which sits within TravelCard's policy guidelines, the MasterCard is topped up with funds to cover the costs of the claimable event, which are immediately available to the client within minutes.
In addition to "Real-Time" claims payments, TravelCard has a number of beneficial policy features, which include: global assistance hotline whilst travelling (24/7, 365 days a year); no age limits (travellers over 85 should be medically cleared to travel); no medical assessments required for pre-existing medical conditions (travellers should be medically cleared to travel) and no excess on all claims. Corporate Travel Insurance
This can be arranged as a single or annual trip policy. Leisure travel can be included for directors and C-level staff. Cover whilst cruising is included. "Real-Time" claims service is included. Business Class for Employees Travel Insurance
This single trip (not annual) policy is new to the travel insurance market and provides executive level travel insurance for all staff leisure trips. This policy offers Corporate Travel insurance style benefits including no pre-existing conditions or age restrictions limits (must be medically cleared to travel), winter sports, adventure activities and golf. Children holidaying with their parents do so at no extra charge. Importantly, the "Real Time" claims service applies to this coverage.
