Successful release of phase 2 AEP reform

The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has advised that the new Automatic Entry Processing (AEP) functionality was successfully released into the Agriculture Import Management System (AIMS) on Saturday 23 June 2018. An Industry Advice Notice 64- 2018 has been issued  to confirm the release.
 
Biosecurity Industry Participants for the Class 19.1 and 19.2  Approved Arrangements(AA) should now be operating under the following policy documents:

 
Task cards' are available are available within the AEP reform web page to provide industry participants with additional assistance on key operational aspects of the AAs.

Re-lodge-Fix preferred loc 


The department's Client Contact Group has received a number of phone calls regarding accredited persons receiving the direction Re-lodge-Fix preferred loc (invalid) for entries that have been processed with non commodity concerns (NCCC lodgements).  The following is a reminder about lodging entries with NCCC concerns:

 

  1. Answer no to the second general declaration question(Question ID 6 or 8)

  2. Enter all relevant concern types. There is no requirement to provide a processing type (AEP code)

  3. Provide the AA site location in the  AQIS Inspection location field which is located at the header level of the ICS (see below ICS screen shot)

BICON

AEPCOMM information is now only be available to industry participants that have registered for a BICON AEPCOMM user account. AEPCOMM information has been removed from the public view of BICON. BIPs and accredited persons must sign up, or upgrade their BICON account to the AEPCOMM user access version. Help cards to assist you in gaining access are available on the Help section of BICON.
