Defence Export Controls (DEC), within the Department of Defence would like to notify you of our outreach program for 2018.
This year we will be visiting the following cities:

Our first event in Brisbane is now open for registration. If you are interested in attending, details can be found on our website.
The outreach program covers the requirements companies and organisations must meet when exporting controlled goods and technologies or supplying related information by intangible means. These include military or commercial items that may have potential military end use or could be used in developing chemical, biological or nuclear weapons systems.
The programs are aimed at small to medium enterprises and research organisations who export or collaborate overseas and want to learn more about:
- export control regulations;
- export controls specific to defence industry or academic and research organisations; and
- the whole-of-government approach to Australia's export landscape.
