FTA / APSA to host the WORLD CUSTOMS ORGANISATION

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) are delighted to announce the first of our keynote speakers for the Global Shippers Forum and ICHCA International Conference 2018 - Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 10 and 11 May 2018.

Ana Hinojosa, Director- Compliance and Trade Facilitation, World Customs Organisation (WCO) - PRESENTING DAY 1, 10 MAY 2018 
 
Ana was elected as the Director of the World Customs Organisation in January 2016.

Previous to that role, Ana was the President of America's Executive Women in Government organisation and the Deputy Assistant Commissioner at US Customs and Border Protection.

This is the first time Ana has been in Australia to meet the local Customs Broker and freight forwarder community. Ana will be speaking on existing and emerging trade facilitation projects and the future of global customs compliance.

This is an essential event for Australian customs brokers, freight forwarders and international trade professionals.

ATTENTION - CUSTOMS BROKERS


Meet your 2018 / 2019 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements by attending 2 events.

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) will again provide two events to cater for Melbourne based licensed customs brokers to obtain their mandatory 30 CPD points.

 

*** GSF and ICHCA International Conference will provide a minimum of 6 CPD points on both day 1 (Thursday 10 May 2018) and day 2 (Friday 11 May 2018).

*** CPD – Border and Biosecurity Compliance Program will provide 24 CPD points on Tuesday 16 October 2018 (8.30am – 5pm) to be hosted at Hyatt Place, Essendon Fields

Should either event fall short of this target of CPD allocated points, FTA will provide COMPLIMENTARY training via www.ComplianceNetFTA.com.au to ensure that you meet your customs broker compliance requirements against both Stream A and Stream B.
