Hapag-Lloyd has announced a reduction in the BAF and LSF (low sulphur fuel charge) in the US & Canada to Oceania (Australia, NZ and Pacific Islands) trade, effective from 1 October for the quarter. The BAF will fall from US$485/TEU to US$479/TEU, while the LSF will drop from US$8/TEU to US$7/TEU.
