Following the launch of DP World Logistics Australia, and its Sydney-based business, Botany Intermodal, we're pleased introduce a new website.

The website goes live as the Botany Intermodal team prepares to open the gates for business on Monday, 21 August 2017

As announced in July, DP World Logistics Australia will be the partner for Australian companies looking for transport and intermodal solutions. As part of this unique re-branding, a new business Botany Intermodal will be housed within DP World Logistics Australia.

The move into landside logistics is part of a long-term strategy to move beyond the port gate, offering efficiencies to customers and other stakeholders in the supply chain.

About Botany Intermodal

Botany Intermodal will operate out of two locations: Park 1, at 1890 Botany Road (formerly known as Sydney Haulage) and Park 2, at Bumborah Point (also formerly known as Smith Brothers).

Manager Logistics, NSW, John Towers, will lead the Sydney-based arm of DP World Logistics Australia.

Botany Intermodal will be Port Botany's only fully integrated container logistics park.

Covering 15.3 hectares, Botany Intermodal is one of the largest empty container parks in Sydney.

Our strategic location means we are the more convenient of Sydney's two full-service container logistics parks.

Services:

·         Wash containers, ISO tanks and road tankers to specific customer requirements

·         Repair and upgrade containers to food quality/DPI standards

·         Repair damaged containers

·         Store empty and full containers

·         Load and unload rail freight and offer storage solutions for containers ahead of vessel receival windows

·         Offer out-of-gauge storage and handling, including receiving, lashing and delivering nonstandard goods

·         Store containers at considerably lower rates than terminal storage.
