Australian Trusted Trader Program

Sneha Chatterjee is the Chief Superintendent of Australian Trusted Trader in the Australian Border Force, responsible for the delivery and growth of the Australian Trusted Trader Programme. 

During her time in the Department of Immigration and Border Protection portfolio, Sneha has carried out various executive roles, including responsibility for the management and delivery of the Labour Agreement Programme for temporary skilled workers, the student visa programme and regional coordination in Western Australia.  Sneha has worked within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet on the Prime Minister's National Ice Taskforce, and has previously worked with Austrade.

Sneha has a keen interest in advancing gender equality across the Australian public service, particularly in leadership roles across the ABF.  She is Deputy Chair of the DIBP Portfolio's Gender Equality Network, and is committed to the promotion of flexible work practices in her teams.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of International Studies, and is a qualified lawyer.  Sneha has travelled extensively and worked in Bangkok, London and in India.
