As a direct result of our engagement with DP World, the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) and Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) have received advice that the Infrastructure Surcharge implementation will be deferred by two weeks.

Whilst committed to working collaboratively with DPWA on reforms, APSA and FTA are seeking parallel intervention by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in an aim to instigate a formal investigation.
We are also working closely with road transport and industry groups in an effort to achieve improved operational outcomes.
We will continue to keep members up to date on key developments.
