As part of the Department of Agriculture & Water Resources' review of the Regulatory Impact Statement for the Biosecurity Act., the FTA has been asked to offer feedback on the impact to business with regards to the change from Compliance Agreements (CA) and Quarantine Approved Premises (QAP) to Approved Arrangement (AA).

In addition to helping the Department in its review we have highlighted the ongoing issue that is affecting many SME members that being the new AA charge of $2,900.00.

The FTA will continue to work with members and continue to seek amendments to the new legislation to adopt a new and fairer charging model.
