Overview of the Port of Melbourne and the Essential Services Commission Regulatory Roles

The Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) and Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) have received notice from the Essential Services Commission of the release of a paper entitled, 'The Port of Melbourne Regulatory Regime - Overview of the Port of Melbourne and the Essential Services Commission's regulatory roles'

The paper is simply an information paper and does not constitute a decision by the Essential Services Commission.

The purpose of the paper is to inform stakeholders about the new ports regulatory regime and the Essential Services Commission's roles following the finalisation of the 50 year lease of the port of Melbourne's commercial operations
