Unlocking value across the container logistics supply chain

Transport inefficiencies that start at the terminal gate have a flow-on effect right across the container logistics supply chain, trapping value and depressing profitability for all involved.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

Connecting the community of container depots and terminals, cargo owners, shipping lines, and road transporters, Containerchain solutions support synchronised communication and operational predictability.

Features include real-time paperless tracking, frictionless information exchange, process automation, and optimised asset utilisation - as well as total container movement visibility for more proactive planning. The result is lowered cost of operations and improved profitability for one of the world's most essential industries.

Unlock more value from your business today.

Weekly Market Commentary

The North Korean crises took a surprising step forward, as North Korea requesting a meeting with Trump, through the South Korean conduit. The meeting is to discuss the unwinding of the North Korean nuclear program. This development is dramatic and a seeming success of Trump's aggressive policy towards an enduring global problem. 'Peace through strength' is the old Reagan doctrine and once again seems to be the way forward.

The US Non-Farm Payrolls number blasted through expectations, adding 313,000 jobs for the month, which triggered a strong rally on US equity markets. German Trade and Industrial Production both contracted, while UK Trade and GDP data was expansive, drawing a contrast. The ECB left QE in place but rhetorically signalled, the end is nigh, dropping the easing bias. The Bank of Japan continued their own QE, confirming the disparity in economic cycles between Europe, Japan, Australia, NZ and the USA and UK. The EUR slipped back to 1.2300, while the Yen approached 107.00, reflecting the monetary policy stance in the different economic zones. ... read more
